WELCOME I am a working artist in Bend Oregon. I received my B.F.A from Southern Oregon University followed by 2 intensive years at Penland School of Arts and Crafts. I enjoy working in a variety of media, using an array of tools and techniques. Currently I teach classes in my studio and I am a contract art teacher at several schools in Bend. In my studio I create hand printed t-shirts (using carved block prints or a silkscreen), books, paintings, mono prints and glass tile. I love working with children, opening their world to multiple tools, techniques and media. I try to use recycled items as much as possible. I teach classes in my studio to groups of 6-8 children at a time.I teach 8 week sessions, doing a different media in each week. There is also a "earth art" component that involves walking in the parks getting inspired by nature or alleys to get inspired by urban design elements.
